Dear
Friends,
It is always a pleasure communicating with like minded & progressive
people.
According to the writings of Charles Castaneda, humans are the only
creatures in the world who live their lives as if they were
immortal.
If we won't take charge of our own lives, who would? We would rather
write our own life stories than living day by day.
When we start believing that we control our own destinies that is
the moment that our lives start changing. Let's inspire this belief
not just in our values, but also in future generations.
The Intek Family wishes you a progressive future.
We appreciate all the feedback and suggestions you provided us.

8 Ways to Improve Your
Managerial Skills
Each year, thousands of people make the switch from staff engineer
or scientist to manager.
And, although many of us look forward to
the change, we find it frustrating once we get there.
When we were
engineers, we were rewarded for our technical skills and labors in direct
proportion to what we accomplished.
But now, as a manager, our
success is measured not by our own output hut by the output and
productivity of the people we supervise. And that sense of not being in
direct control can be a frustrating feeling. And
the motto here
is, “just do
the best that you can!”

challenge. At the same time, more and more employees now

What Makes a Good Boss?
Everyone tells tales of the boss from . . .
But what about
the angels of the workplace? Have you ever considered what makes a good boss
good?
The answer to
that question is admittedly mercurial, as one person's view of a top-notch
employer will differ from somebody else's. However, there are a number of
traits, attitudes and abilities that are common to all good bosses.
Moreover, the need for solid leadership skills is especially telling with
smaller businesses.
Being a good boss
is important in any organization, but it's particularly important for small
business. With smaller businesses, you really have the
opportunity to set the
tone for the entire company.

First Things First:
Prioritizing Requirements
One Characteristic of excellence requirement is
that they are explicitly prioritized. When customer
expectations are high, timelines are short, and
resources are limited, you want to make sure
the product contains the most essential functions.
Establishing each chunk of functionality's relative
importance lets you sequence construction to
provide the greatest product value at the lowest
on requirements prioritization. Developers do not
always know which requirements are most
important to the customers, and customers
cannot judge the cost and technical difficulty
associated with specific requirements.
