Looking at Old Problems in New Ways
If you carry on with the old familiar method, you
may become more
and more tangled in a hapless
situation and be unable to solve the
problem. This
is why it is up to us to find new and creative paths.
The flash of inspiration comes to an individual while
he or she is
having shower, having breakfast,
walking, in the evening’s traffic
jam, in the bus or
during a concert.

Partnership Power!!!
A smart new way to improve your business, and your life!
In the beginning, great products were enough to
guarantee business success. Product sophistication,
six sigma manufacturing and zero defects clearly
beat the competition.
But benchmarking, product imitation and reverse
engineering soon appeared...and now everyone
seems to make great products. Next rapid delivery
arrived. Those who made, shipped, installed and
served their customers faster were rewarded with
growing market share and higher profits. Digital
delivery, cycle time reduction and 24-7-365 access
(by phone and Internet) accelerated the speed of
commerce, and competition.
Now everyone's got a Website and courier
services
cross the planet overnight.

10 Tips For Training an International
Audience
Training a worldwide audience can be a minefield
of potential errors, missteps and disasters. Whether
your group size is thirty or three hundred, it is likely
that you will face men and women, old and young,
company veterans and brand-new hires, locals
and expatriates, married, single and recently
divorced, and every possible mix of ethnic, religious
and sexual persuasion. With a mix like this, you can
offend without intention, insult without meaning to,
and alienate without even trying.

Cross
Cultural Communication Challenges
How
"Global Smart", are you?
Do you think that your personality is defined by your
culture and values? What happens when you move
from one culture to another...do you think your
personality will change? What do you think are the
characteristics of Western / Asian personalities...can
we generalize? Define your own personality...then
compare it with your friends...are there common
elements or are they totally different? Where does
your personality come from? Family? Living in a
small town, big town? What made you who you are?
We all communicate with others all the time--in our
homes, in our workplaces, in the groups, in the
groups we belong to, and in the community. No
matter how well we think we understand each other,
communication is hard. When we participate in
groups, we are often surprised at how differently
people approach their work together.
Culture is a complex concept, with many different
definitions. But, simply put, "culture" refers to a
group or community with which we share common
experiences that shape the way we understand the
world. It includes groups that we are born into, such
as gender, race, or national origin. It also includes
groups we join or become a part of. For example,
we can acquire a new culture by moving to a new
region, by a change in our economics status, or by
becoming disables. When we think of culture this
broadly, we realize we all belong to many cultures
at once.
