Five Brand-Building
Secrets...
you can apply
to your business
1. Be More Outrageous Than Anyone
Around You.
“You can’t overstate the value of self-confidence
and image.” “A big part of success is being able
to trumpet your skills unabashedly.” It takes
being outrageous to get noticed, be outrageous,
but honestly so. False humility doesn’t cut it.

Develop
Your Creativity
If we are all naturally creative, why do only a few
people fully exercise their creativity? Primarily, we
may underdeveloped or misplace personal habits for being creative,
often from fear of “bucking the
system” or our culture and social norms. Creativity
is an expression of who we are, not what we do or
have. The true force of creativity is first to “be” (for
example, seeing yourself as a doctor), then to “do”
(going to medical school, conducting examinations),
and to “have” (a diploma and a practice).

The Agencies of Leadership
The ability to leads highly valued, widely proclaimed, but
frequently absent in today’s workplace. Many managers perceive
themselves to be great leaders and motivators, but their perception

can be appointed a manager, but not a leader.

Gender Workplace Communication
When
something happens at work which is dismissive of you or excludes you, you
must either speak up or exit the situation, if you truly want to redirect
the flow of events and launch some real communication. You don't have to
be shrill or abrasive to speak up; you can simply be firm and clear. You
don't have to physically exit either your job or the building; you can
distance yourself to an extent it becomes clear you have exited the
situation and its dynamics.
A large communication gap
exists between men and women in the workplace and the higher a woman rises
in an organization, the greater the gap becomes. There is no question that
all of us--- men, women and the companies which employ us, and depend on
us for teamwork--- would be better off if we developed strategies and
techniques to close
the gap.
